Duck calls

I'm in the market for a new call. Been using Duck Commanders, but now that I'm getting short winded, I'm having a bit of trouble calling.

What I'm looking for is a call that doesn't take much breath/wind that is deep like a commander call.

Any help?

Is it illegal to use recordings like predator hunting?

Not the problem. I have a bad heart that doesn't pump enough blood/O2.

That little Haydels double reed is pretty easy to blow. Hell, I'm using a whistle 90% of the time now.

Mike Stelzner of C & S game calls makes a fine duck call. A bit pricey but damn good callers..

I have one of my Dad's somewere around the house unless my son took it which I'm sure he did. It was an old single reed wood call. About 35-40 years old. Or it might be a Falk's.

Thanks guys. I will hit a couple places on the way back form New Orleans tomorrow.

I grew up inStuttgart...Butch taught me how to blow..if I didn't blow RichNTone...I would blow a primos. Easy to blow and they make a great timber call that is cheap

You want your duck to sound like a hot piece of trim or a plank rd hen that was rode hard and put up wet?

I don't know of any call that takes less air than the classic Faulk's WA-33.

Try the RNT Alpha 2. My buddy has one and it takes very little effort to blow.

This. I like a deep tone call. Don't care for high pitch bitches.

Have one. Found most timber calls are to high pitch for my taste. I hunt open water most of the time.
