TCU would be the most desirable by a lot

TCU is still shite tier and not close to Arkansas in terms of the overall program

He's right about the smoke screens. Protecting Patterson from having to lie to his players for a week.

I mean I guess to the openings it's a top program, but it's still 7th or 8th, maybe 9th best in the SEC...

Look it is like this, we need someone who will FIT into what Arkansas is currently and what they were able to do in the past. We need recruiting channels within Texas, We hate all things Longhorns. If you saw GP look at DB when TCU had Texas done then you would all realize GP has ZERO love for texas. GP would take us back to our roots and it can only be better.

I think he would be a better fit for us then even Petersen could be.

Seriously guys, what's one thing Patterson can do at Arkansas that he can't do at TCU?

You really think he is going to leave behind the preseason pick to win the Big 12 next year, with 20 of 22 starters returning, to go rebuild another program?

Very believable. Arkansas needs a defensive guy - GP is 52, so if he gets 4 or 5 years, that takes him to his late 50s - he may have peaked at TCU.

Could be a win-win for everybody.

I do not know, like be in the title picture every year instead of just once every 5 like TCU. Better stadium, better facilities makes for a better job. Not to mention better pay.

Hogwash

Name a reason he can be in the picture every year at Arkansas but not at tcu?

And you do realize we just spent hundreds of millions of dollars on a new stadium and brand new facilities that were completed this year?

If you factor in the oil contracts, Patterson might be the highest paid coach in the country. Plus TCU said that they would match any monetary offer. Money is not an issue

Patterson has a better chance to win a NC @ TCU than he does @ Arky.

I just don't see it.

I'm pretty well connected here in the El Paso /Juarez metroplex, my sources are money.

I understand Juarez is a large city and all, but I just don't think I've ever heard the term El Paso/Juarez metroplex ever used before.

Funny.
