Not picking on you in particular but this attitude is why most lottery winners end up broke. They give to "family & friends" and are made to feel bad for not doing so and they buy everything on impulse because they feel their lifestyle needs to change now that they have money. I wouldn't change anything about my life for at least a year and slowly buy up assets over time. Not even my immediate family would know I won. Only the lawyer that set up the blind trust.

I would set up my family first. Then I would build a nice house in my hometown, donate to some of my favorite charities, then travel the world.

If you do that they will end up resenting you because you won't bail them out again and again. Better to say no in the beginning IMO.

Buy a huge tract of land. Build a motocross track on it. Tons of toys. That probably wouldn't spend anywhere close to 15 million.

I'd split it evenly with my two siblings, and I'd give my first cousins a million or so each. ~$40 million is way more than I need to indulge my wildest fantasies, and if the others want to blow their share, that's on them.
