No worries. I just don't think it is at all reasonable to insinuate that someone is a pedophile. That is some downright evil and disgusting shit, and I was admittedly offended by the insinuation. FWIW, I took your comment to be more of an awkward Acreboy reference than you actually calling me a pedophile.

Danny Granger and his bad knees...both players get to go home. Although I'm sure Granger wants to stay in Indy. Pacers two guard problem is solved. Our SF problem is solved.* *excluding the injuries of course.

And we're left with a huge, gaping hole at 2. I would rather have Aminu playing 3 than Rivers playing 2 at this point.

well we drafted Rivers so he is our 2 guard for the future. Granger is a bigger upgrade and would provide more leadership than what Gordon could bring. It's not like we are competing for a title in the next two years anyway.

Granger is a pretty big downgrade from Gordon, plus Granger has injury issues as well. His age doesn't fit with the way we're building this team. ETA: And Rivers is not even remotely close to a starting-caliber player right now. It's going to take a long time for him to develop into a quality player, but at least he works hard at it.

Dude, where have you been? We drafted Rivers to play the 1. He is playing 2 out of necessity. I don't want that to be permanent, because I just don't see his shot ever being that of a starting 2.

If you think Rivers is going to be a true 1 you are out of your mind. Guy is a 2 guard. Bringing in another wing to run your offense through (Granger) is ideal. and FTR tehchamp, Granger is better player at this point than Gordon.

Have you been paying any attention to his shooting? As bad as it has been, I have more faith in him developing as a point guard than as an off guard. I think the idea was to have him, like Vasquez, playing next to Gordon. Just before I hit submit, Rivers drains a 3...

It's not his raw shooting numbers I'm worried about as a rookie. His mentality is to look for his own shot. He is a scorer not a playmaker. That's who the guy is. If the NBA is positonless as people claim it is now, then Rivers is a 2 guard, regardless of his height. However, I am not opposed to him learning both positions because that will make him a better player down the road.
