Who said it was great? If you can break even by doing nothing versus working at entry level why would you ever get off the train? My sister in law has family that have it down to the penny how much money they will get when she shits out another kid by a third daddy.

Are you saying you exploited the program to get ahead as well?
So as far as a fair share I don't think so, this has been years and years of foraging at the government trough.

No, I meant work for minimum wage to get ahead in the future. But my ex-wife's father, a former Marine, was living in public housing while he was in med school. He went on to work for 40 years as the chief surgeon in an emergency room. He also has worked as a US Marshall for 15 years. And only recently retired at the age of 72. I don't have a problem with people using public assistance to lift themselves up to do better.

Sounds like a leech working the system for her benefit. Much like many people I know who use tax accountants to get out of paying their fair share. People take advantage of the system at all levels.
My point was just that I hear so many people talking about how great the poor have it.
They don't have it so great. If they did, everyone would be poor.

Exactly. People act like the programs these leeches are living the high-life on with nice cars and cellphones and food isn't available to them. Good news everyone, IT IS! You too can have a nice car, a cellphone, and food! If that is all you want in life, this is opportunity knocking. Quit your job, and get on the plan. Clearly, poor people have it best; so, please, join them.
