ETA or would it be opposite? Heavy. Thinking about Utah and their fluffy snow because of the Great Salt Lakes.

We get both at sea level. Week or two of powder, then wet, heavy stuff for a week or two.

Yeah, when I lived in S. Central Ak I did. It's pretty damn cool. Like the ski area here, you can literally ski to sea. They get a helluva lot of snow on Turnagain Arm

uh
humans get a lot of their fluids/hydration through food we eat. specifically fruits and vegetables.. you shouldn't dehydrate just from not drinking water.

For argument's sake we will use the 64 oz rule of thumb. I don't think you come anywhere near that from food alone. I know that I am getting fluids from food but not enough. Pretty tough to measure fluids from food don't you think?

Yeah, it's tough to measure how much you get from food. Anything that you drink that doesn't dehydrate you (see: alcohol) also hydrates you, so sodas and all do count as well.
My only point was that you shouldn't be seriously dehydrated as long as you eat properly. You may feel a lack of energy or something from a mild dehydration.
To answer the OP, I try to drink about a half gallon a day

In the morning and at night and other times during the day, I just stick my head under the faucet and drink until I literally can't drink any more, then I consume as many glasses of water I day as I can.
Plus a pot or so of coffee, black

Since its cold now, I dont drink nearly enough. With me not sweating, one bottle of water makes me piss 3 times. During the summer, I'll easily drink 7-8 20oz. bottles of water a day at work, plus more cups of water at home.

That was me until I started getting kidney stones and my urologist said my urine output is about half of what it should be.
Not getting thirsty is actually backwards and you are dehydrated, when you are thirsty your body is hydrated, but wants more says my GP.
ETA--when asked how much water should I drink in a day, my urologist said ounces aren't the measure, rather your pee should be clear like water.

My pee is usuall pretty clear. I might drink the equivalent of one to two sodas a month. I drink out of these little one ounce cone cups we have at work so it is not in one sitting. You did answer my question about not being thirsty though. I never get thirsty during the day. Only in the middle of the night.
