Thinking about pulling the trigger but can't decide. Is it as good as they say? Is it worth the money?

Yes. On mine now. Much more convenient than my laptop and easier to carry than books.

easily portable to couch/toilet. Way less bulky and hot than a laptop. Easy to travel with.

very very very good. But the Nexus 7 is also a great piece of hardware. Depends on what you prioritize. do you mind using phone apps on a tablet? or do you want apps customized for the screen size you're using. If you're just going to surf the internet on it then that may not mater to you.

I havent used mine in a while. Hate typing on it and play games on different devices.

I do believe so. I only use my laptop for documentation at work anymore. It's much more convenient.

Tablets are great. Pick one with the operating system you prefer and enjoy.

I never get on the laptop anymore...I have a Brookstone keyboard which makes typing easy too

My boys have ipads. Bought mh daughter and niece the nexus 7 for christmas. They are just as nice.

If you're looking for a total laptop replacement, it won't meet your needs unless you never use productivity software. It's a great for web surfing, games, videos, etc. I use mine to remotely access my real computer a lot.

Do you have an iphone or a macbook already? Or do you have a widows laptop? The answers to these questions can influence the answer to your question.
