Broiled black drum filet with a garlic/butter/white wine/cream/chive/sauteed shrimp sauce, and leftover oyster dressing.

Used left over smoked turkey carcass for stock.
Chicken sausage gumbo.
Put peanut butter in my roux.
Used my garden onions, bell peppers, bby jalapinos and green onions.
Been simmering since about 930.
Oh, btw I went with the andouilli.

Got my new menu with magnets posted on the fridge. Lucy likes the idea. Top = oldest stuff, bottom= made today.
Today's menu:
Corn bread and butter
Shredded Turkey with pasta and red sauce
Chicken Salad for sammiches
Shrimp Pasta Salad with a Caesar Sauce
Cold shrimp cocktail
Tomorrow I'm thinking about a Beef Boulangeses (sp) dish. Got a bottle of Pinot Noir in the cabinet and will buy some filet mignons tomorrow.
Any ideas on a recipe? TIA.

Arugula salad with grape tomatoes, red onion, pine nuts, blue cheese and leftover roast beef. Creole Tomato dressing.
Making stock with turkey carcass for soup tomorrow. It's looking good!

I got a message from the admins saying that my Free LSUballs sig quote was inappropriate. I changed it to something more appealing to the eyes, less offensive and inappropriate.
