it's absurd that Mitt Romney's taxes are capped at 15% while a WORKER is capped at 35%.
No discount for risking complete loss of principal? The worker doesn't risk any funds. An investor does. two very different activities. And the vast majority of investors are middle class. You really think raising the cap gains rate will hurt Mitt Romney?

The discount is that he can net his losses against his gains.

Flat tax: definitely AGAINST. It's a stupid proposition because it does next to nothing in solving the problem of our bloated tax code. Measuring income is what's complicated, not applying a tax rate. National sales tax: FOR if all exchanges of value, including sales of real estate and equities, are taxed.

Not badgering, just not sure if you saw the question. How much would you expect the cap gains change to raise in revenue?

So you have no idea how much revenue your proposal would bring in. Why, then, do you propose it? Just because you don't linke Mitt? Isn't the goal to increase revenue. Not for you, I guess.

Ha see all you needed to see from Rexy was that it wouldn't impact him, facts are no factor in his thinking. No idea how much it will "generate" nor it's effect on others but because it looks like it will frick someone else....well then he is all in baby.

Because I'm certain it would be both fairer and substantial. I don't have to know how many people would be executed to support capital punishment, either.
