| Saints playoff odds are brighter than advertised. (Posted on 11/23/12 at 9:03 pm)
The Bears' reality and their remaining schedule!! They had the easiest sched in the league through week nine. Now they are facing way better teams that now have a great look at how bad that offense is. Their games are Minny, Seatle, Minny, GB, Zona & Detroit. I see them losing three more even if Cutler comes back. If Jay can't play soon, their season is already over. MinnyBears, GB, Bears, Rams, Texan & GB. 9-7. Saints can go 9-7 and win a tie breaker in many ways. TampaSame outcome as Minny! SeattleOnly cause they're Seattle i'll say they lose three more but i don't believe it. They might have the 5th seed locked already.

I can't wait for week 14! Let's just play the damn games and stop with every possible scenario to get into the playoffs. Cutler is out and the Bears will lose 9 more games this season! Godell will have his retribution agains Minnissota for having Pat Williams' drug suspension overturned two years ago by moving the team to LA and the AFC! Tampa Bay will fall into the ocean...the Pacific Ocean. Seattle will lose Wilson and Flynn and be quartebacked by Billy Joe Ocean! We can win the division if my Herpies infested sister sleeps with Matt Ryan...then she stabs him in his sleep! Let's just play a few more games and get a game or two over .500 for the first time this season before saying the bears and Minn and TB will collapse and we walk into the Superbowl. /rant

The Saints will get lucky and Russell Shepard will fall to the end of the first round!

Miles intentionally held back Shep for 4 years in order for him to slip down draft boards and give good draft value for the Saints. Mad hatter works in mysterious ways.

It boils down to 3 things: 1) Win out and odds are the Saints are in. 2) Lose 1 and the Saints will need a lot of help (<50% chance) 3) Lose 2 and the Saints are done (always a slim chance but <5%).

Nah, your odds are too low. 1 loss a bunch of those 4 loss teams will still drop 2 more games on the schedule. 2 losses and the odds are still over 5%, the only hiccup would be Seattle losing 3 more games, when they only have 2 on the schedule that they wouldn't be favored in.

Yeah, but what about our schedule, not a walk in the park by any means. To be fair though, the Saints really only got beat one game. The other games they just lost, so I do think they can go toe-to-toe with any team...they just have to be on the winning side of a match.

I would say Washington and Denver both beat us pretty handily.

Yes. It's in Roger's desk next to your sarcasm meter. Shepard in the second round? Are you for real?!

In all seriousness, he needs to give that shite back... Would have been even worse if we had a tanked 3-13 ish season. 33-38 overall pick

No. Would say that 10-6 gives about a 80% chance looking at the remaining schedules of other contenders.

Once again, tough schedules for teams fighting for playoff spots. This scenario would have to involve a lot of help, but I'd give this about a 15% chance.
