You have to be shitting me.
Rodgers, Brady, and Manning are all having better seasons than Brees. All three are ahead in passing rating. Two out of three in YPA. All three in less picks thrown. All three in completion percentage.
Brees is clearly not the front runner. He is clearly one of the four best QB's in the NFL, but there is no fricking way he is the MVP.

Have you even compared their numbers? Brees clearly has worse stats than the other three elite QB's.
There is no reason to go into team stats because they are inaccurate way of measuring a player's worth, but yeah, the Saints are also the shittiest team of the bunch, which will further damage his chances that should not exist.

His stats stink compared to Rodgers, Manning and Brady. Even RGIII has a higher QB rating. Im just saying, Brees is great but so far this year he's just not in the hunt.

Elleshoe, look at stats that correlate with success at the QB position. Yards are pretty terrible and QBR factors in "clutch", so it pretty hard to make a determination of how worthwhile it even is.
Passer rating and YPA have much higher correlation with winning than those stats, and these meaningful show that Brees is behind.
I also like how you selectively left out most of the stats where Brees is trailing. Brees has an advantage in volume, but not in inefficiency so far. He is still fricking awesome, but not the MVP. His numbers are still very good, but not the best.
