I'm sorry that I don't know but I've seen you people talk about this a few times now. What's the deal with "hidden" LTE?
Isn't the nexus supposed to be the best thing ever?

I don't know about the hidden part either
But I think what he is referring to is that the phone has an LTE chip in it despite the fact that people say that it doesn't support LTE

You can buy it from T Mobile stores but I wouldn't do that since you'd have to get locked into a contract with them
That's one of the reasons the phone is in such high demand...because it's factory unlocked and you don't have to sign a 2 year contract

Right. That's what I've picked up on. Just seems odd. Not a very "top tier" thing of google to do.

That's not what they were going for. They were going the easiest route possible, for them and end users, avoiding all carrier input and demands. Keep in mind this is a developer phone and its much easier on developers to have an off contract phone so they can upgrade more easily when the next nexus comes out.

Love this phone! Lots of people on xda talking about this now. Just have to flip on a setting.. No hacking required.

My buddy got his, he was a little mad about LTE, so I fired up the easy trick for him and bam, LTE on AT&T.
"What the hell how did you do that they said it doesn't have LTE?"
Oh but it does, for AT&T only in the US right now, but it does.
