Because no one will watch a college game opposite an NFL game national ratings wise even if its one v two opposite the browns vs bengals its been proven time and time again

Hell no I am fine with a friday game but it would cause so many problems with family if the game was on thanksgiving.

I tried to explain that to the Aggie fans I spoke to when I was up there for the game in October. Most of the ones I talked to are all for the Turkey Day game. College Station and Austin are 1.5 hours apart so it worked for that rivalry. College Station and BR are 6 hours apart. Huge logistical problems for any visiting fans trying to make the game. Hell, it would be much easier for Houston Tigers to make the game in College Station than it would be to make the one in BR. I hope it doesn't happen. I think the slot they chose for it next year is perfect.

I never liked the Thursday game. Friday is perfect. My family is from baton rouge so this makes my Thanksgiving GOLD!
