I won't be able to return it after the game as I'm riding back with some friends. Worst case I'll try to grab a cab. Figured fans in my same situation would try to get to campus expeditiously as opposed to a cab driver that is just collecting a buck.

Yeah.. cab might be your best bet. Might be a little pricy, but at least you have the rest of the trip planned out.

I purchased months ago from Lafayette for 560, and meeting a friend flying from LC to IAH for over 600.
We arrive at 11:37.
You are welcome to ride with us. I have an Enterprise rental that will easily accomodate 3.
