Both are trainwrecks right now, with multiple top tier schools in their division to hold them down.
Seems like he would wait for the Texas job in a year or two, or even the USC one....

Who said anything about Arkansas offering him?
Tennessee thinks third times a charm, because being turned down the previous two times wasn't a big enough hint.

His wife being from the Knoxville area, him owning land in the surrounding area, having already coached there forever ago, & with talks of UT making him one of the highest paid HC certainly doesn't hurt

the funny part about this is that if we hire a coach in the next week then I believe we never offered Gruden or Franklin however if two weeks goes by and we still do not have a coach then then I do not think we will get a very good one.
I think Gruden may go to Tennessee if they removed the large buyout clause from his contract. I also believe we have someone signed and have had them for a while so tifwiw.
