The only candidate at Tennessee is Gruden, when or if he declines the offer, we will go after the second tier candidates. (Mullen included).

At Tennessee saying Mullen is a second rate candidate. You hired Derek Dooley. He couldn't even win the Western Athletic Conference. You couldn't get Mullen if you threw all the money in the world at him.

Because Tennessee fans want Gruden and any other name thrown at them is white noise. Until Gruden publicly announces he isn't interested in Tennessee. They will disregard other coaching options. I don't think that MSU should lose Mullens. Do everything in their power to keep him. I think Tennessee should look long and hard at Charlie Strong.
