Obamanomics: The Democrats are insisting that any fiscal cliff legislation has to include another stimulus package. Right. And the first one worked so well.
According to The Hill, Senate Democrats "say any deficit-reduction package negotiated in the coming weeks must include stimulus measures."
Sen. Charles Schumer, the New York Democrat identified by The Hill as the party's chief political strategist in the Senate, has said, "We need to do something on stimulus as part of the overall fiscal cliff."
Schumer believes a second stimulus is necessary "because the economy is not growing fast enough in the first year or two."

Obama has to pay off his big business and union cronies again with another faux stimulus.He does not give two shits about America. If you think your current paycheck barley keeps up with inflation, imagine what your paycheck will look like when Obama adds the payroll tax holiday cut, back on.
All ya'll in Louisiana have not experienced the full nightmare.

Try being the third to last next to Ca. in unemployment in NC.
Small Construction,Plumbing,Carpentry,HVAC, Painting companies cut hours,then took away sick pay,then bennies,then healthcare.
People are lucky to get 20 hours a week. So if there is a payroll tax holiday on the current paychecks people will be desperate when the taxes are added. They won't have a paycheck.
All taxes will be going up.
Please speak up if you get a cost of living allowance raise. I think only ballers and congress do now.

The Repubs need to do NOTHING and let the cuts kick in and taxes go up. The top 5 increases are in heavy Dem states... Elections have consequences.

That's exactly Obamas plan and then when people complain he will blame the republicans. He will be elected king dictator for life. What happens when the monopoly money runs out and Obama can't make payroll to pay for food stamps?

They are fricking dumb... So lets waste another 500-900B on worthless shite that will temporarily boost thing.
They are just trying to put a bandaid on a gun shot wound. The only way to fix the economy is to make it more business friendly and full on entitlement reform.

I agree with this 100%. The Democrats built this mess and all the republicans need to do is to let it happen. It will be painful for years to come but, it will finally take the "pay their fair share" argument away from the Democrats.
Add in removing Abortion/contraception from the GOP platform and then we can become competitive again.
We also need to adopt Marco Rubio's platform on immigration.

So the Dems bitch about raising taxes on those making over 250k is a way to pay down the deficit, which by all accounts amounts to around 200B in additional revenue per year.
Yet, they are going to propose a stimulus package that will take 2-4yrs of these additional taxes to pay off?

This just goes to show that the Ds have no concern for the debt. The Rs need to let is all expire, The House needs to propose a balanced budget amendment and pass it, pass a budget with real reform and leave it to the Senate to ignore it. No more debt limit increases and if a budget is not passed shut down the government...

I thought the democrats ran on the fact that the economy is back? Isn't that how Obama got elected? Everything is fine again in this country?
