2. Most HIV/AIDS infections will be among heteros by 1980.
3. Soccer will be the most popular sport in the US by 1970.
4. People will reject the suburbs and live downtown.
5. Computers will replace the need for accountants.

Not really. The first patient I can remember was in 1982 and it wasn't called HIV/AIDS then. It's been around for a long time but I think once it became as big a deal as it became, I think they retrospectively went back and labeled some mysterious deaths to HIV. Remember Jenny in Forrest Gump. "I'm sick Forrest." "I have a virus and they don't know what it is". I strongly suspect they were hinting that it was AIDS but that time line in the movie was probably 1977 or so.
