Where is the 8 years? Where is the dollar amount? By the way not happening. He isn't going to UT, Arkansas, or any NCAA school.

People are throwing these figures around thinking schools and boosters will pony up. It ain't happening. No school is going to release control of decisions like that. It is way too dangerous.

There's plenty of coaches, who have coached in college, that you could get a better ROI. No way I want my school to be on tap for 50 million for a guy that was pushed out of his last two jobs.

This is actually a reasonable response. But my counter point is that football is THE money maker for Tennessee, and for most schools in the SEC. With Tennessee's money concerns they need a splash hire that will unite fans again and bring them to the stadium next year. They need to hire someone who will get merchandise sold. If it takes a loosening of the reigns to get this type of hire, they will let go.
Bama splurged on the Saban hire, but their revenue increased 10 fold. That's what UT has to do.

Make a bet? Why? Gruden isn't going to change mine your or anyone's life by going to school X. If he was going to show he would've already been around and people would've leaked it with solid reputable sources. The fact that his Disney contract isn't even being discussed is telling. The buyout is staggering.
