How the heck do you take 71 3 pointers in just 35 minutes?

My AAU basketball team wanted to run the Grinnell offense against one of the worst teams in the league one time...

You have to take a 3 within like 5secs of crossing halfcourt or some ridiculous shite like that

A look inside the box score of this game is very interesting...

LINK

--David Larson of Faith Baptist scored 70 points in the losing effort. He was 34-44 from the field.

--Faith Baptist was 0-6 shooting 3-pt FG. Grinnell was 30-80 as a team.

--Faith Baptist had 49 turnovers to just 17 for Grinnell.

--Grinnell played 20 players in the game...I guess there is no D-III rule about how many players you can have? And how the hell do you put all those guys on one bench??

So I guess this proves basketball really isn't a team sport.

What I don't get is how the opponent allows this to happen. At halftime how was no one like, "Hey coach this guy just dropped 58 on us.. Maybe we should defend him a little differently in the second half."
