I understand this but it is AACSB accredited and will be a resume enhancer for my career.

Mine was paid for too. That did not make it the right choice. Are you right out of college? Does the school have good recruiting in the industry you are trying to get into? What industry is it, if you don't mind.

Doesn't mean much. Never once did that come up in an interview.

Not necessarily.

Beverage industry (Spirits and Wine). Would you recommend I let the GI bill go to waste? Is there another option that you would suggest? I am fresh out of school but not on a traditional path. I'm 32 (33 when I graduate) and started school late (in life) but finished my undergrad in 27 months (Clep, Dantes test).

And I'll add... where did you go to undergrad?

I have a MBA from ULM. Mine was paid for also and I needed it to "check a box." Nothing great about it though. ULM offers a masters in gerontology also. It is actually a good program unless you are hell bent on a MBA.

No, but I would recommend you think about doing something that would actually advance your career. Since you are fresh out of school, I assume you aren't going to ULM because you plan on holding your full time job while going to school. That was the only acceptable reason to get and MBA from ULM. I still don't know what you need an MBA for, as the "beverage industry" is mostly bartenders and product reps, neither of which require a college degree, much less an MBA. I assume you aren't going into corporate sourcing or financing, as a ULM MBA would do no good in that either. How long do you have until your GI bill expires? Are you just getting an MBA because it's the golden ticket to making a lot of money? From someone who has a lot of friends with MBA's, it's really just a golden ticket to unemployment due to overqualification. Why are you so connected to ULM? Why is that degree going to be the best for your career?

It expires after 15 years. Also to the OP are you under Title 30, 32, or Post 9/11? If it is Post 9/11 then you can transfer it to dependents. I am with Flask on this one. Unless you just need to check a box for a job you already have then I wouldn't recommend a MBA from ULM or anywhere really outside of Harvard, Yale, etc. When unemployment went up a lot of people decided to go back to school and get a masters. The market is full of MBA's now and it is not what it once was.

I agree with the first part... But the second part is a little extreme
