False, if you're going to use "science" as you say, you need qualifying statements to make that statement true based on the facts given. Try again.

The Pew Study is scientific. Here's a graphic.

Dude, in this VERY THREAD there are two links to research from the Pew Research Center on this VERY subject. At least read the thread if you're going to chime in.

Correct. I'm about to learn you something, pay attention. FOX news is infinitely more balanced than MSNBC The above statement may or may not be true. It is dishonest to say that it is true because you have no facts to back up your claim. However given the research provided, the following statement IS true based on facts given. Fox news, in the last week of election, was infinitely more balanced in relation to the presidential race. So I'm sorry LA. I did read your thread, I'm just not stupid enough to make giant illogical leaps.

Thank you ever so much for the education, son. But it appears there are a few holes in your lesson plan. The study was not only the last week
quote:
Left-leaning cable news network MSNBC is the most biased of all media outlets, even beating its right-of-center rival FOX News, according to a new study. The study, conducted by Pew Research Center from August 27 to October 21, showed MSNBC aired 259 news segments about Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Of those segments, only 3-percent were positive, and 71-percent negative. Likewise, MSNBC aired coverage of President Obama that was 39-percent positive and 15-percent negative, the study shows. The biggest offenders of biased reporting on MSNBC were Martin Bashir, Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton and Lawrence O’Donnell, reports the New York Times. Bashir used his show to portray the Republican contender as having mental issues, while O’Donnell was forced to apologize last April for slandering Romney’s Mormon faith as a scheme made up by a man who “got caught having sex with the maid and explained to his wife that God told him to do it.” The station routinely uses Obama campaign press releases as actual copy in their reporting, the Times notes, even repeating lines Obama campaign spokespeople have used elsewhere in the media. FOX News is routinely criticized as being biased, while MSNBC is not. FOX Newswas also biased in its coverage, only to the right and not as severe. Segments about President Obama were 6-percent positive and 46-percent negative, while segments about Romney were 12-percent negative and 28-percent positive. The third-most popular cable news outlet, CNN, was biased toward President Obama, only not as severe as MSNBC. The station, which markets itself as more objective than the left-leaning MSNBC and right-centered FOX, ran segments on the president that were 21-percent negative and 18-percent positive, and segments on Romney that were 36-percent negative and 11-percent positive. A similar study conducted by Pew during the 2008 U.S. presidential election showed media bias in both MSNBC and FOX towards their respective sides of the political aisle. The 2012 study showed not only that divide steepening, but becoming more severe in the reporting done by MSNBC.
so. . . .

What's the link for that article? Because they site numbers completely different from the numbers on the graph.

How many negative stories did MSNBC do about Obama in the last week of the campaign? The answer is zero!
Think about it. In the last week of a presidential campaign where the economy was the worst since the Depression, the war in Afghanistan has become the longest war in America history, the welfare state is increasing rapidly, Guantanamo Bay is still open, and an American ambassador had just been murdered by terrorists.....MSNBC could not think of a single critical story to run about Obama.

Perhaps it is your own perception that is biased? You phrased each of these complaints in a way that one could not help but agree with you. When you say Afghanistan has become the longest war, I say he caught Osama bin Laden. You imply that the murdered ambassador was Obama's fault, I say that Obama avoided a major international incident. And so on...
