We're in 305, almost diagonally from the students. Even though it was pretty clear to me, most of the old timers around us had no idea what they were saying.
They sorta chuckled when I told them. Of course my wife was applying earmuffs to the kids.

I want to know who the first student to chant "STTDB" is?
Originally, nobody chanted anything. Then, some added "talkin out the side of your neck" bc those are the original lyrics. From there, it got altered to "STTDB" and spread like wildfire.

I am 65 and by far a prude and with buddies use language I should not use, but I think it is not the place to use that language.
There is a time and place to say things and a football game is not the place.

Trust me, the students saying this is not nearly as bad as the older crowd in my section screaming "frick" and "god-damnit" and "shit" after every mishap by the team.
And these are mid-aged men and women. Not to mention people who are 65 like you.
Grow up. It's just words. Kids don't know what they are hearing, and if they do, they didn't learn the words at TS.

When did I post that I was pissed, Im just annoyed that Neck got band, bc of the energy it got the crowd going, only to be banned bc of that phrase, which is still being used anyway.
