I just paid for Gold online and my account there says I have the Gold membership, but when I put Halo in and go to the Infinity > War Games, the screen says "Requites An Xbox Live Gold Membership."
Any ideas? Does it take a while to update from buying Gold online to actually playing or should that been instantaneous?
(I've checked to make sure it was the same gametag, account, etc.)

Should have been instant. Have you tried restarting your xbox?

Thanks. Yeah, I turned it off and then back on without having any luck.
I just put in a request to have a support person call me from xobox's website. Hopefully that helps.

That is odd that it doesn't let you play. You can call 1-800-4MY-XBOX if you don't to wait on them to call. They will just need your gamertag

All I had to do was re-download my gamertag. No way I would have found that option w/o the support call, so kudos to live for that.
But I'm on multiplayer now -- TwoPerSac if anyone wants to join up

played one game of swat last night went 27-14 had a few games of slayer in the twenties last night, all against people ranked way higher than me

I play more of the Spartan Ops trying to knock out those challenges and unlock sstuff, but if people want to play MP, I will. I have played a few. I'll play whenever.

i started using the promethian vision last night, its pretty slick
i have a question about it though, do the cancel each other out if someone on the other team is using it are they invisible if they are using it at the same time?

You can see each other. PV can see everyone except if they are using the invisible perk.

I thought so but wasn't sure. I use PV exclusively when playing Infinity Slayer. Knew there was a few times where I couldn't see anyone. I love when their camo runs out and they are still crouching and sneaking.......glowing like a christmas light
