And I think it was aimed at me, or at least should have been aimed at me, because I'll admit I've asked repeatedly about the competency of the medical staff, but I think the questions have been reasonable given the limited facts we have available to us.
I'm sure it was. You're not the only one asking, but you do ask the most frequently. That said, it IS a legitimate question to ask given the dearth of reasonable answers provided. Quite frankly, you are probably the most reasonable poster on here and you tend to apply logic first and foremost. It's not like you are in every thread posting "Gaawwwwwwd! Our medical staff sucks! We might as well send them to witch doctors!"

42 is the only person that knows about NBA medical staffs and the intricacies of NBA attendance. Because he said so. Do not question. Educate yourself. Idiots.

It wasn't directed at anyone in particular, but TigerinATL responded quite reasonably to the question. I just picked the debate up from when it started. Feel free to denigrate me for whatever good it does, those of you who seem to lie in wait to do it. Enjoy. I said point blank these guys make mistakes, so I'm not defending anyone. I'm bringing up the other things that need to be discussed, in my opinion, to make this more than the gripe session these things turn into. And, really, try to talk about the topic and not me or other websites you may or may not like. It really adds nothing while bolstering the point that this it's more about griping and about the people in the discussion than the facts. TigerinATL, if you felt I was slamming you on no account, all apologies. You were the last post on the thread and I failed to quote what prompted me to bring up the old discussions.

I didn't feel slammed so much as I thought the charges were a mischaracterization of what I've seen here. Gordon is the only person involved who I would consider to have been personally attacked. Everyone else has been questioned as to what role they have/may have played and could/should they have done better, but nothing I'd consider a personal attack.

I haven't seen anything anywhere close to a personal attack or even bias against the training staff. However, if you can't analyze shortcomings of your staff, you are going to fail. As far as anything "personal" about it, I have no idea who the training staff is. I do know that the Hornets have had pretty consistent injury issues since I've been following. There always seems to be a key player with some never-ending injury. Maybe it is coincidence, but you cannot just throw your hands up in the air and blame Murphy.

Just making sure. And, it's not a matter of questioning the team, it's a matter of asking the right questions and examining what the data tells you. And generally, "Injury issues" are a part of every team, so is every training staff below average somehow? Or is there a baseline rate of success and failure that they staff should be compared to? The existence of a injury to a player, even on a yearly basis, may not be cause for alarm while a single misdiagnosis would be. It depends on the situation. Twisting the words of others may make you feel good, but it doesn't make an actual point. And I know you, Jester, were not waiting around for me to post, but you sure do like to discuss posters more than facts. I actually like most of what you do, but I really don't care if you don't reciprocate.

Realistic expectation would be after the all-star break. That way you won't be let down.

This is why I think he is actually injured. If he really wanted out, faking an injury and sitting for months isn't gonna help his trade stock at all.
What does that matter? If he doesn't like the team he is traded to, he will sit like he is doing now.
