How opportune for Jindal to say these things?. ID be more impressed if said public before the election. Honestly, I find it chicken shite by Jindal but he is just mirroring his competition Christie at the moment.

It's a good start rhetorically by Bobby but these last 4 years have cost the GOP on credibility and likability. Obama will have reshaped America after 8 yrs much like FDR and Johnson. The only hope is that the private sector can survive this onslaught.
It survived the sweeping Left legislation of FDR & Truman for 20 consecutive years. It 'survived' despite a Democratic president in the White House nearly 35 straight years('The supposed good old days the GOP pine for) between 1932-68 if not for Eisenhower's 8.

As for Bobby & the press, you don't recall Manship attacking EWE every chance he got, & EWE certainly gave him plenty of issues over many many yrs. Simply using the excuse that the locals are against him should not preclude him from his obligation to openly meet the press. But it's not just here in BR. The Times Picayune has been running editorials bout just this issue, Bobby continually ducking the local media over some very important issues here in La. He is big on selling his resume that he is Mr. Transparent. Yet he hides behind any & every curtain he can, and has for going on 2 yrs now.

He said this in response to comments Romney made after the election. Criticizing him for something he hadn't said yet would be rather odd.

Well Jindal did FINALLY address the 47% comment(referencing 100% the GOP should reach out to) which was actually said before the election. The only difference is that he actually 'named the minorities'(except Jews of course) who vote overwhelmingly Democratic & cost him the White House.

Yes, but what was he supposed to do? You don't criticize your candidate for gaffes before the election; you try your best to get the elected. Pointing out faults in the previous campaign in order to improve the party's chances in the future is common sense.

Are you kidding ? That's called being a hack. Plenty Republicans rightfully criticized Romney back in September for his 47% comment: Susanna Martinez,Scott Brown, Rick Berg, Dean Heller,Linda McMahon, Chris Christie,Josh Reynolds, Peggy Noonan,etc........ Jindal came pretty late to the party didn't he? Pointing out Romney's insults AFTER he's lost & to seem moderate/reasonable. Democrats absolutely destroyed Obama ,& some even mocked him to his face(Jon Stewart for 1) for his horrible 1st debate yet he still won the election. You don't have to be a hack to point out flawed rhetoric/performances from your candidate.

No, it's called being a politician. Despite flaws in the Romney campaign, Jindal wanted him elected.

And most of it was uncalled for until Romney doubled down following the election.

Wait, your comparing a comedian to a sitting governor?

Scott Brown, Suzanna Martinez, Christie & the Half a dozen or so people I named aren't politicians like Jindal? I guess the awful debate in which the President was widely criticized was a bad analogy because Obama wouldn't say something as stupid. Why was criticism of Romney uncalled for by sitting GOP Governors & politicians ? You wish them to be hacks like you? That's what's wrong with Politics & and Republicans specifically. They have to run for office as well & distance themselves from garbage like that.

It wasn't part of his campaign. It was an off the cuff comment behind closed doors.

Even more of an indictment of the man. Many in the GOP believe the same thing. Again Romney was criticized by several sitting Governors,Senators,Representatives,etc.... at the time he said it(months before the election) yet Jindal was nowhere to be found. Easy to pile on Romney since he has lost. Only if I had known re electing Obama would have the GOP this butt hurt ....

Just like "bitter people clinging to their guns and religion" or "voting is the best revenge." Now why didn't any dems attack Obama over those comments?

Also, since he doubled down on his attacks of half the country. You are completely ignoring what prompted the comments from Jindal because you are blinded by hatred.
