I find it hilarious how everyone loved it when Michigan put a giant "M" on the front of their jerseys. But when we put a big FDL on the front it looks stupid.

I distinctly remembering a lot of people saying how awesome those jerseys were.
And I'm assuming the reason most people dont like this is the fact that we put a giant emblem on the front of our jersey. Regardless of what we used as an emblem, people would've been saying the same thing. So I dont get why the two unis aren't a fair comparison.

Oh I dont worry about it at all. I just dont get all the hate. I know they're not the best looking unis. But I still thought they looked great for a one time alternate uniform.

Doubtful. Our contract with Russell is up and I don't know if we're going back to them.
Love 'em or hate 'em, we got people talking about them (in several threads, on this board, that are still on the main page two days post) so I'd say they were a success.

I have to admit I did not care for them that much. I would have been happy with a standard black jersey with white numerals and lettering. I just did not care for that big fdl replacing the jersey number on the front.

I liked the helmets and didn't care for the front as much. But the backs looked cool with the French words. That's all WKU saw anyway
