I don't play in a clan and I have been having a terrible time with my K/D ratio in this game. I just made level 55 and I am stuck at 1.25. I thought for certain I would be above 2 because I dominated on the first BLOPS. Is it necessary to play with a clan to be successful because of map size? I think that because of the small maps and hte increadible number of rounds it takes to make a kill it is very difficult to have a good K/D ratio when playing alone. If you are with a clan and have a teammate with you he can at least clean up anybody that comes running to the sound of your gun shots while you reload. Am I way off base here? Are any ofyou all having difficulty matching your K/D ratio from BLOPS 1?

I've learned to slow down just a little and check my back a whole lot. I'm still not very accurate and won't win many gun battles. I'm just more aware

I started strong the first day or two around 1.5 but took a nose dive to almost 1.0. I've been building it up the last few days.

Last night an opposing player went 0-123. He just kept killing himeslef with the rpg over and over. He must have thought his k/d was too high

Black Ops K/D was a 3.3, but that was only after playing for a hell of a long time until I mastered the maps on a second account.
I think a lot of it is the people playing right now are of about the same skill level and nobody really knows the maps, so you aren't going to see a lot of dominating performances like you may be used to.
Just give it time, you'll get used to the game and whatnot. I'm sitting at 1.6 but it's steadily rising.

The spawns are so sporadic that its hard to read the game hence lowering of a lot of peoples kd

I don't see why not, much easier to be killed on PC considering everyone has KB/M and aims much quicker.

I was going great a couple nights ago and now I can never seem to get anything going when I play. I think my K/D is dancing around a 1.2/1.3
I think I have been doing so bad because I am playing too aggressive and am losing gun battles. Playing BF3 for so long has affected that because you never really come face to face with people. And I have yet to find a gun I really like to be aggressive with. I like the Scorpion because it has a real high rate of fire but it jumps around A LOT when going full auto.

MW3: 1.9
BLOPS 2: 1.34
It is a lot harder to stay alive in this game. Ironically I seem to play better when playing solo and selecting "BEST" connection, maybe that's because I get crappier connections playing with friends, they are all several states away from me.
I sure thought I would be better than what I did in MW3 but alas, no. The lag compensation is AT BEST the same as MW3. Sometimes it looks like your skull has been sniped off with one shot and the kill cam shows some guy put 10 shots into you with an SMG and it never showed it on your screen.

i'm around 1.85? 1.86?
this game is even easier to get kills than BO was. people running around with hand guns, shot guns, sniper rifles, it's a tardfest.
problem is, if i'm going for flags, i'm going to get killed
PS. anyone use the helicopter or something that follows you??? did it kill you? it kept killing me, and it was my own kil lstreak(out of box)
