phi delt is the only one who realistically would accept a gay guy knowingly; although, I recall a Sigma Nu pledge getting outed a few years back and they kept him around. Anyone who seemed remotely gay during rush was cut immediately and any active members who seemed to be possibly gay were ostracized in my chapter. After graduation, I know of guys from my chapter, my dad's chapter, and plenty of other chapters (LSU and other schools) that eventually reveal their true nature. I honestly find it despicable, dishonest, and downright disgusting for a homosexual to sneak his way into a fraternity posing as a straight guy. I can respect it if you are open about it (but you'd be cut immediately). Imagine if straight guys could a way to disguise himself into a sorority for 4 years. It's essentially the same thing in my eyes.

why the frick would you have your frat in your will? Seriously. I can see the goodbye video the will writer filmed. "Sorry, susie, I know you are my only daughter, but I really wanted to make sure the frat house had enough money to buy roffies to date rape some thetas." Oh, and gay haters are completely fricked in frats at LSU have openly gay members.

I know a few guys that didn't figure it out until their mid-20s. They were banging broads and had girlfriends up until then

Yeah I suppose that can be the case... there's also plenty who had it figured out long before coming to college. One of the whole purposes of frats is to have access to thousands of girls. There's literally 1-2+ events per week revolved around meeting sorority girls or having date events. You'd think if you're gay, you'd realize you're a bit out of place and probably should go find a place where you'd be more welcome and more useful. It's hard to put yourself in that position and know what it's like so I can't really make much of a judgement I guess.

Alright Owlie, you want a legitimate answer then ill give you one-the fraternity that I joined in college had the best social functions & threw the best parties, pulled the hottest girls, & were quite literally the coolest mother frickers on campus. On top of the party atmosphere this group of men were the most athletic coupled with having the highest GPA, & were constantly winning championships & awards between both athletics & academics. Aside from this, this group of men were not part of a normal fraternity background but of that of an order-a group of individuals brought together by like minded goals & ideals. This order was comprised on the ideals of chivalry & gentility that every member held to the highest standards they could. The overall goal of the members of this chapter was to be the best at everything they could achieve, & for the most part, exceeded expectations & were known for being the best. All of these factors intrigued me & made me eager to be involved in all aspects of that order. With that said I am proud to say that I made the right choice in becoming a brother among the members of Kappa Alpha Order. As for all the GDI's putting down on all fraternities, no disrespect intended, but don't rant about things you'll never be able to understand, it just makes you seem more idiotic & moronic. You don't know & will never know the brotherhood & the lifetime experiences you missed out on by not being a part of a Greek organization. Thank You, End fricking rant/
