O-T Muscle Building Experts

Can any tips be given for a beginner? I'm 6'3 and weigh about 170 and is as frail as a twig. I don't even know where to start.

TIA

If you're a beginner, pretty much anything you do will get you bigger and stronger. You don't need any specialized exercise routines or supplements. Eat protein, do basic exercises. Google "beginner workout routines" and such, and pick something you think you can stick with. After you've been doing it a while and hit a plateau, you can move on to more complex stuff.

1. go to bodybuilding.com
2. find a full body workout program
3. eat protein

Its best to start on a full body workout 3 maybe 4 days a week. This will allow you to put on some mass as you get in shape.

This.

Compound lifts will be the most effective use of your time and energy (squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc.)

Eat plenty of protein. Prioritize complex carbohydrates over simple sugars and keep fat intake to a minimum to minimize fat gain.

About how much weight should you add per month? I've gained about 10 pounds in 3-4 months. Is that decent?

this is the best post in tihs thread including mine.

like, you could do much worse, than to do nothing but these exercises. in fact honestly, i would recommend for the first 6 months, just do these every other day, monday/wed/fri and the other days just do stomach/cardio stuff.

this is all your core stuff.

I've got a question as well.

I can't put very much pressure or weight on one of my arms due to a bad injury/surgery/metal. How the hell can I get swolt if I can't even do a damn pushup?

Google starting strength and do that program. Start reading a lot of good nutrition for bodybuilders. Learn to cook.

For eating try anabolic cookbook. Has a ton of.recipes and meal plans.
