Does anyone use the light rifle online? I recently gave it a try and it seemed like it took a lot more shots than my BR to get a kill.

I haven't unlocked it yet to try nor have I come across it as an ordinace. I will say that the sniper rifle version appears to be bad ass. No matter where I was getting hit with it, I was dying by one shot.

Yea the Promethean sniper. I have 3 classes unlocked and I have different perks on each one and the same goes for the specializations. I do like the awareness a lot. It still allows for you to see the radar when your scope is up. I think I have the extra grenade pick up on another loadout. I'm still trying to find out what works best for me

Im awesome at FPS and I find halo difficult. Buy CoD, anyone can play that.

The beam rifle or whatever is much easier to use than the sniper in this one, for sure. I got to play about 20 games at a buddies and picked it up pretty easily..the DMR is OP as frick from yard and all the close range weapons (I'm looking at you, SAW) kill wayyyy too fast.

You like the DMR more than the BR? I do really well with the BR but I'm not sure if I only use it more because of nostalgia

No, I love the BR. But if you try a long range battle vs. a DMR, you're going to get manhandled. In close-midrange, they're both equal IMO, but the long range benefit of the DMR is too much to pass up. I literally just stand in the back and put shots on people (on most maps). It's a different type of gameplay than I'm used to. I miss the run and gun of H2 and H3, but this isn't that bad, I guess.

With good team mates and good timing with promethean vision and also my trusty BR I get to do some of that old school run and gun halo. I mostly just try for head shots and strategic battles tho, but with the right group it's easier to let loose.
