I never denied that I'm forcing morals on people thetempleowl but the point I'm trying to make is that this forcing your morals on people is a cop out. Its a natural part of society to "force morals" on people. The government force people to do things. It is always been a part of religion to "force morals" on people. But women should have the choice to kill their unborn child. No sane human being would be for abortion if they believed that the unborn is truly a living human being. this is what it ultimately comes down to. Not forcing morals or crap like that.

Nice response. Typical though so not surprising. You and ASUROB1 should get together for a few laughs. Yes...really. Want to say something substantive now? And thanks. Good luck to you.

Ah yes the Reagan avatar arguement. Always a good sign that you are in trouble in a debate when you start to deflect away from said debate. Really?...insulting me personally is all you have left?

So as I said, you pray for an America similar to Saudi Arabia in the treatment of it's women. Good that you can finally admit that.

Good to hear you're trying to turn America into a theocracy.

First off ctf, if you were born in Saudi Arabia you would be all about women wearing burkas. Since you were born here, its abortion. Just a different hot button topic for a religious zealot. You realize not everyone has your religion do out is not right to force your religious views on someone else, right? And by the way, unborn child does not mean child. Unborn child means fetus. So why not call it fetus?

Is that forcing you to get healthcare? It is in essence an additional tax. Not the same situation.
The hell it's not. The moral compass that dictates health insurance is a human right is the one that drives the government to force everyone to pay for a service whether they want it or not. That is the exact same thing, you are just parsing words.

Asurob is definitely a hypocrite. Apparently he has no problem with forcing morals on people as long as its his morals.

How is Obamacare a "moral"? I mean it makes a nice zinger in this forum....but how it a moral choice? Anymore then public schools or public transport or keeping a standing army is a moral?

You want someone to have something. In this case it is healthcare insurance, but it has a direct impact on the health of an individual--the conversation on whether it is positive or negative can be debated. You are willing to force people to obtain that which you feel they should have through legal means, that being through support of legislators and an executive officer that will force people to obtain it through force of penalty or jail time. You have literally consented to jail time for those who refuse to get something you have concluded in your own mind they should have, whether they think they want it or not. You can frame no argument around this that will convince me it is not your "moral compass" that says all humans should have access to doctors and medicine even if they can't afford it. Literally, the only difference here is that in the situation for those who want to see abortion illegal is that a child lives in our world and no one goes to jail.
