Nope. They couldn't even load him on the ambulance to put down in the barn. Had to do it right in front of the grandstand 
Hit a bad spot on the track. Drinking lots right now.

Thanks. Not one of mine, just one he trains. Just sucks because he was sweet and starting to figure things out. It's why he's involved in that business and I'm just a fan. It's part of it, but I take it too hard. Gonna give my horses big hugs tomorrow.
Sorry you are sick. I had about 2 1/2 days of fever, then started to feel much better. Hope yours is quick too.
Btw, I want to live in Arcadia. Had so much fun!!

Arcadia's not too bad. Close enough to L.A. and other places when you want to do stuff, but then you can also avoid it if you don't want to deal. Glad you enjoyed it. How'd the hair do?

Decided to not wear the hat
Santa Anita really is amazing with the mountains as a backdrop. Wish I could have stayed a little longer.
I did get a kiss from last year's derby winner. He was 2 stalls down from our guy.
