my buddy just texted me and said he got shot at by some hick trespassers from out of town on his grandpa's property  . he got them on trail cam though.

I get them on the cam all the time. Very rare to see some beards. Never seen them strut before.

I've never hunted them before. Don't know how to call them. My FIL took a guy out there last year that trapped some hogs for us. They called a few up and killed two. I may give it a try this year. If uncle Si can get them in range dancing like a fool maybe I may have a chance

this is up in northern michigan. a bunch of "flatlanders," as we call them, come up to this area every season and frick shite up. they come and catch our steel head too. they are either welfare poor wannabe confederate trash or city folk. we are about 25 minutes north of flat land. they suck to say the least

Poor kid. Glad he's ok. I always carry way more shells than I think I need. Usually atleast a box.
I've got a diaphragm call that I used in west Texas. It's not hard. Get a call and a cd and practice in the truck on the way to work. That's what I did.

me too. i have a feeling if they try that property again there will be "a lot of slow singin' and flower bringin'", grandpa's a crazy 'nam vet and a couple wild uncles. this shite doesn't fly up there.
