As we know, a vast majority of the Democrat voting base was poor, uneducated, minority, non english-speaking thug pos'. Some of them shouldn't have even been allowed to vote. Some voted simply because the President was 'cool'. Again, I would say this was a good portion of the base.
Here is my question: Among the GOP voting
block, what percentage of those voters do you guys think are ignorant hacks? I read a lot of posts on here about the uninformed Dems voting blue just because. Have you ever felt the need to call out a red voter? Between the hillbillies of WV, the rednecks of AL, the timid bigots of MS, and on through the swamp trash of LA, I'd imagine there is a lot of ignorant talk going on.
What say you? What percentage of the GOP vote was this block?

Likely a similar percentage as the D counterpart. WIthin 5%.

Well if you are one of those people who instantly think Democrats can do no good and Republicans can do no bad you are a hack. I've called my parents out several times on this kind of thinking.
The most recent case would have been Obama having csars. I had to pull up some stuff and show that Obama has exactly 5 more than Bush had and pretty much every president has had some since the 1930s.

Lets call you out for being one of that pack of ignorant fricks as you didn't miss one oppurtunity to use the Alinsky methodology of marginalizing people in your post. Dems don't vote "just because", they vote for the maximum amount of "free shit" they can enrich themselves with for continuing thier support of the porch sitting masters they bow before.

From personal experience I'd say about 5%. However, the level of stupidity across the country makes me think the number is higher.

I'd imagine it is almost equal on both sides...
I would be that 50% of the electorate on either side of the bar are hacks and would not change their vote no matter what.

K. I'm not sure what the Alinksy method is. I did refer to thug pos', hillbillies, rednecks, etc all in the same breath because those are the terms people on have used to describe these bases. Sorry if I offended you (or if you fit this group).
For the responders who said 5%...why so low? Are u saying, basically, in your average group of say 20 registered Democrats, only 4 of them are completely uninformed and voting blue regardless?

What I meant by "within 5%" was that the percentage of R hacks is within 5% of the percentage of D hacks

It sounded like you were asking about registered Republicans. Of the Democrats I know about 30% don't act like they even care about politics except they are quick to blame Republicans for the problems of the country. I avoid talking politics with both of the ignorant groups as much as possible.

My district is extremely red. When I voted at the court house early there were over 100 people in line. I talked to several. They all seemed like 4's. With a few 3's. No 1's or 2's. Handful of 5's.
The Bell Curve:
1= mentally retarded (about 2 percent of pop)
2= very stupid (about 25 percent)
3= average (46 percent)
4= smart (25 percent)
5= extremely bright (2 percent)
We tend to live in our group, plus or minus 1. So, if the average Romney voter is a 4; he lives, associates with, and works with 3,4,5. He considers 3s stupid because he never sees 1s and 2s to see what real stupid looks like.
So, if half of the 3s vote Obama and all of the unseen 1s and 2s vote Obama (urban) then he is shocked that Romney lost.

I posted a link the other day from Krugman where he stated that in the Sough, Rich whites overwhelmingly vote Republican while poor whites vote no differently than any other region in the country
Rich people can be ignorant too.

I'm not a card carrying repub but at least their message celebrates success and seeks to reward contributors.
Dems are the party of victims and of the guilty.
They may be delusional but at least the ignorant hillbillies, rednecks, et al. attempt to identify with the ideals which made this country great.
Don't think anyone can make an argument that the welfare state, crafted by the dems, is not the cement block dragging this country to the deep abyss.

I think upwards of 60% on both sides. We treat every electoral matter like it is a reality-TV show.
Want things to get real? Take the "R" and the "D" off the ballots and then we will see an informed electorate.
