Last paragraph of article. Kelly and her sister dined with a WH staffer twice after Sept. 28. Probably just a coincedence!

The whole affair (no pun) is so odd and crazy. We will probably never know what the hell is and was going on between all the parties and their motives. I've got a good buddy that's a West Point guy who also had a very high ranking relative. When all the talk of Petreaus possibly jumping in to run for president was brought up, I asked him his thoughts. He's not in the military anymore but his answer was simple. He stated it would be a disaster, the guy would be an embarrassed and he left it at that.
