People will be tired of the Dems shite in 4 years and it will follow the same cycle it has for years. 8 years of R's, then another 8 of the D's.

You may be right, but that will only happen if the Repubs admit that America has changed and will change in the future with more and more minorities voting.
I have used the analogy that the GOP sounds like a parent who says that their kids have changed in the last 4 years, 8 years, etc. and they are not the same. No shit!
This nation evolves just like a person for good or bad in your opinion. My point is that the GOP is sounding more and more like that parent who has lost touch with their kids. Will they get that back is up to them.

The GOP ran on the premise that Obama has broken the country and is lading our economy to ruin. The GOP ran a guy who has a stellar record in business for "creating jobs".
OK, let's look at that - the number one issue is jobs and the economy, Obama has ruined the country with his economic policies, Romney is a star job creator and will turn the economy around.
He Lost! And the GOP cannot admit that there is something fundamentally wrong with their message.
Blame Sandy, blame MSNBC, blame "gifts" to the electorate, blame the fact that it was clear and sunny on election day.
I think that the power brokers in the GOP will be sitting in a room soon and saying "WTF!"

Romney just didn't excite anyone. Fewer people voted in '12 than in '08, a whole lot less. As much as Libs want to think it was some overwhelming victory, it looks more like people just didn't give a shite about choosing between Romney and Obama.

Obama got 9 MILLION less votes than in 08.
I still think the republicans should make significant tweaks to their message and platform going forward though.

Let me use a football analogy since we all agree on that. The GOP told us that Obama had a terrible pass defense, the worst EVER! And the GOP had the best passing game - simply outstanding. But the GOP lost 50-48 in the game and the passing game was not the reason.
Do you think that, at the next coaches meeting, there will be discussion that "Hmmm, maybe that is not what lost the game?"
Please say "no", remember I lean Democrat and hope that you'll keep thinking that you got it right but other factors lead to your defeat.

Well, he is right in theory. Problems
1.Obamacare is the most sweeping legislation in decades
2. Immigration reform will galvanize Hispanics to lean Dem for a generation
3. The Republicans have alienated everybody but White old men
It's a good start rhetorically by Bobby but these last 4 years have cost the GOP on credibility and likability. Obama will have reshaped America after 8 yrs much like FDR and Johnson. The only hope is that the private sector can survive this onslaught.
