| Let's talk Jester King (Posted on 11/15/12 at 10:43 pm)
I have for some unintentional reason not yet tasted a single one of their brews. It must be that I'm not a fan of the art work. Alas, the beer is readily available where I live...school me on the top JK brews

Noble King Black Metal Wytchmaker are some of the readily available ones that would get you in to their beers. I've had nothing bad from them but I haven't had a lot of their limited stuff.. Would love to try the Commercial Suicide, Funk Metal and Bonnie the Rare.

the best I've had from them is Weasel Rodeo, but my sampling size is limited because most of the beers they make are not the styles I prefer

I've only tried Noble King. I remember it being pretty good, but I came down with a stomach bug a few hours after drinking it and remember it did not taste as good a second time.

Some of the best art for sure, but I could see the content being a little off putting to some.

yeah, it s very artsy labeling, but its not a style that draws my eye and makes me want to buy. I'm not discounting that the beer inside could indeed be very tasty

I'm apparently of the minority that has had bad beer from them. The concepts and recipes are great (belgian, farmhouse styles, etc) but the bottles I have had from them are always oxidized and taste like cardboard. 3 bottles over the past year and all were oxidized and stale tasting. As a homebrewer I expect more from these guys with a solid rep.
