The Cardinals will unveil this jersey at a news conference today at 10am CT. Watch Live Here It will be worn for Saturday home games during the 2013 season.

It is a cool jersey, but I'm a traditionalist.
Your home jersey should have your club name on it and your road uni's should have your city on it.
That's the way it's always been in baseball, and that's the way it should be!

I read that they are talking about wearing red hats on the road also. They currently do this in spring training I think.

At a 10am press conference, we will unveil the updated 2013 uniforms including this alternate jersey
Sounds like more than just the alt, could be red caps for the road.

This is how I feel as well. Very good looking jersey though.
I'm not real big on adults wearing jerseys, though I've made an exception for a baby blue Willie McGee jersey that I wore to a game a couple years ago. But this Cards jersey, and the Pelicans jersey also in this thread, have me rethinking my stance, at least for baseball.

Major points for a Gas House Gang reference. Of the "traditional" MLB franchises, how can the Cardinals not be your favorite? (Or at least, not the least hated?)

Trevor Rosenthal showing off that new 3rd jersey like a boss!
Red hat and red belt now on the road, will on occasion wear the blue but for the most part it's gone.

Not that there was ever anything wrong with the blue caps, but in general I support the idea of 1 team, 1 cap. IMO, this is addition by subtraction.
