I don't think one has a "right" to contraceptives. A "right" is something you can exercise on your own without someone else being necessary.
That said, I am against govt infringing upon a person's freedom and if they want contraception, the govt should not prevent it.
People seem to confuse the concept of being free to do a thing with having a "right" to a thing.

Providing free access to contraception reduces the number of abortions that will happen. Do you care about this statistic or are you in favor of more abortions because you believe your view on buying contraception is more important than that?

Exactly. Opposing a right to "free" contraceptives is not the same as opposing a right to using contraceptives.

I feel reasonably certain that if we handed every potential gang banger $100K per year, crime would be greatly reduced. Does the fact that I'm not for giving them $100K per year make me "pro-higher crime rate"?
I'm for FREEDOM. Freedom INCLUDES the concept that people should be free from being fleeced to fund OTHER people's wants.
Your argument is specious because I'm not responsible for how others behave if I don't give them handouts.

Handing out drugs for free to all who would like to use them would likely reduce the crime rate.
Therefore, if you are against giving everyone their crack for free, you support higher crime. Therefore, you are not allowed to talk about crime.
