the name of the thread was bands that don't get enough credit or attention.... these are some of my favorite bands and favorite writers. I know every word to every song, and every song on every album.
josh ritter? he's not obscure at all
shovels and rope recently opened for jack white
cory branan and scott biram are both on bloodshot records, a pretty big indie label. the same label that signed ryan adams.
and tim barry is one of the best singer songwriters of the last 10 years:
