Because when stuff happens and we're collecting information and doing investigations and the American people are demanding answers we send people on television to say what they know to the best of their knowledge that simultaneously doesn't compromise the investigation and every spokesperson basically hedges constantly because information and understanding changes and usually people don't go all crazy because they've watched the news before.

I would imagine the CIA has been giving people talking points...for 100% of the time the CIA has existed.

But what does this have to do with Susan Rice? She was just talking to the American people and there's no protocols there. All of those different terms evoke the very same image and understanding. She said "heavily armed extremists," and was pretty decisive about how even if there was a protest, the attackers were another group entirely.
I think the whole Benghazi thing is blown totally out of proportion, but I get it. Susan Rice I don't get. Her comments, at the time she gave them, were directly in line with everything being said by everyone.
It's just like everyone decided Susan Rice was the one we were going to yell at.

Also, nothing CBS says on this subject matters because CBS has no credibility left. They're in the tank for Obama. They ignore stories that would damage him and report stories that help him. Where is the truth? Who the hell knows. Nothing they say can be taken at face value.
