Of course he did...so did Susan Rice...and so did Obama.
Anyone who has done any research on the attack knows that it would basically be impossible to come to any other conclusion...even at very early points during the attack.

Everyone knew - still hilarious that some douches on here still try to defend those lies. Some a-hole keeps posting the same lame links (and even points out how many times he's posted it!) trying to defend it. Just damn

After all Obama said the next day it was a terrorist attack. Way before he said we needed to wait and see and way before Ms. Rice made a complete fool of herself.
Obama and Crowley set the record straight the night of the debate, remember?

Can someone explain to me the relevance of this issue? I've seen it bandied about a ton of times so I'm sure it has some. But it seems like certain groups were bashing the administration when they thought it was about some movie instead of terrorism and now are bashing because it apparently is terrorisim.

everyone knew this was terrorist activity. When you attack an embassy it's a terrorist act. No one has argued that it wasn't. However it seems for some reason the GOP doesn't like that a video may have added feul to the fire with these middle easterners. They think it is a big conspiracy. A conspiracy to accomplish what exactly they won't say. If Obama would have used the word terrorist activity more would it have made the GOP happier? To what end. Makes no sense.

Arrogant Obama put his foot in his mouth during the presser yesterday.
Original story was Susan Rice was provided with all of her info from the CIA. Obama yesterday said the White House gave her her info.
Importance of all this? Obama and his surrogates lied for weeks about the cause and nature of the attack in Benghazi. Violation of his own executive order if there were prisoners. No aid was sent to help the Ambassador (Stevens was Obama's handpicked representative in Libya).

this should be the issue, not whether enough emphasis was placed or not placed on a video. An investigation into security lapses that led to this should be done in order to discover how and why the ball was dropped and what could have been done that might have prevented this. It should be an internal investigation but of course the GOP wants to make this security issue a political game.

You have to wonder what the reaction would be if something like the terrorist act that killed 240 marines in Lebanon in 1983 occurred. Of course, Reagan was pretty much immune to criticism at the same level.
One doesn't justify the other, but it seems like Republicans are more interested in discrediting Obama whenever they can than they are about doing anything positive. Maybe that's why Obama was re-elected.
