here here...one of the things required of any long term partner for me, is good financial sense. Lacking that I need a good friend to call who won't steer me wrong.

My research doesn't need funding. I'm using a local office for my surveys and they are not charging. Participants get no remuneration for participating and my surveys are public domain. I have to take time off work, but I'll just use vacation time for that.
What are you having to fund? Are you doing actual field work? I don't have to do that.

well being that I planned to be in this truck for 7-10 years, going a little upside down wasn't an issue then.
Just spoke w/ Ford customer service, I should have an answer on Monday. Boy. That's a new one. I haven't been hearing that for the last two months.

i had the same problem with mine, but what i thought was a leaking radiator turned out to be a bad egr valve.
I pulled it out, cleaned it up and it stopped. of course shortly after that my oil cooler went out/fouled up.
all the places that radiator fluid could leak threw/disappear to, it happened. I even had to replace the head bolts and gasket.
fun times
