The reality is our defense is better than good and has the ability to shut anyone in the country down. We shut down Oregon just last year. We also know how well Miles' teams play on opening day and in bowl games. I think 13-2 in his tenure, maybe 12-3?
Not saying who would win or lose, but the game would certainly be close and we wuold have the ability to win without a doubt. Even Danielson and Palmer said we are playing better than anyone in the country right now and would be a favorite against any of the three unbeatens.

If LSU makes the Rose Bowl, they will be playing the Big 10 champion as a replacement for Oregon, who would be in the national title game.
If LSU is playing Oregon in a bowl game, which is theoretically possible but unlikely, it would be in the Fiesta or Sugar.

In that situation this is correct. However there are situations where it is possible. If Oregon goes to the CG then it will be up to the Rose to make their selection. It all comes down to if Notre Dame is available and how they finish their season. Assuming UF loses it will be between us and Notre Dame if they arent in the CG. I guess Stanford is the wild card out there for them to take.

If Oregon is in the Rose Bowl (:fingerscrossed) they will play Nebraska (or some other Big Ten Chump).
Fiesta with the first pick would be crazy not to take ND, assuming it is #1 KSU, #2 UO, #3 ND.

Itd be impossible. The only possible way to play Oregon would be playing them in some other bowl game. And the only way for that to happen would be if they didnt win the Pac 12 and werent playing in the bcs title game.

Miles is 5-2 in bowls, and LSU is 8-4 since 2000.

for LSU to get in the Rose Bowl, Texas has to beat Kansas St while Oregon and Notre Dame win out. Fla has to lose to Fsu. Stanford will fall out of a BCS bowl with a loss to Oregon. That being said, i think K St wins out and both Oregon and Notre Dame go down and LSU ends up in the Sugar

If you wanna play Oregon in the rose bowl that would make you a complete dumbass son. Yes LSU plays well in bowl games for the most part. Inconsistent at times but yes good. I would just rather play a ND OU or Texas right now. Not Oregon. We did beat them last year with one of the best teams that ever played the game also and it was virtually a home game for us

When did I post we didn't have a chance?? We did afterall lose to bama at home and UF all within the last couple months. We didn't drastically improve that much
