I had all 4 cut out and was put to sleep. Definitely, definitely do this. If you had to have them pulled, I'd suggest local.

Have em put you to sleep tat. Tell them to wake you up in two weeks. J/K, but good luck.

General is always the answer unless you're concerned with cost. Get happy.

If you have all four removed, general.

if impacted and requiring surgery- general anesthesia. if simply pulling them out- local

I went with general. I couldn't imagine getting all four out with a local. My insurance picked up a good bit of it and it wasn't that much more than having a local.

I just had all four(impacted) taken out two weeks ago. I had local done. It was not a matter of cost, but the fact that I don't want to go under general anesthesia unless I absolutely have to. The first night after surgery was rough, but relatively pain free with only discomfort afterwards. Percocet was my friend.

I didn't have a choice and had them done two at a time under local. So not only did I get to be awake and watch the dentist brace his foot on the chair while he yanked the first two out, while I recovered from the first two being jerked from my skull, I got to enjoy the delicious anticipation of knowing I would be going through the same shite all over again in just a few short weeks.

Have them put you under. TRUST ME! I had all 4 removed (two cut out and 2 pulled) while I was in the Army under local anesthesia with a demerol drip. As soon as the scalpel hit my gums I felt everything they did. I was soaked with sweat within 5 mins. The worst experience of my life.
