Obviously. But that is taking my point out of context. Cars in 1930 cost $500.

One, we are fighting for 100 percent of the votes, and secondly, our policies benefit every American who wants to pursue the American dream, period. No exceptions.”

Well said Bobby.

ETA: At least someone is trying to flip the script. Perhaps Jindal has realized it's our only way. I'll follow him.

What about trust fund babies? People act as if this is only a culture of the welfare recipients.

Free money breeds apathy. Why do something for yourself if others will do it for you?

we have got to stop dividing American voters. We need to go after 100 percent of the votes, not 53 percent

Yet that is exactly how Booby has built his entire political career in Louisiana. Now he's crafting his message for a wider audience. Like Romney, no lie is beneath him in his quest for office. A pox on both their houses.

Dude we've all seen the demographics now and the electoral map. Things are bad, really bad for the R's. I don't blame Jindal for trying a different approach. The end justifies the means right?

This is an Apple, and this is an orange.

Trust fund babies do not live off the government or look to the government for support.

Care to explain how Bobby has divided the state?

Did you not read the rest of the post?

My point is that there is some sort of conditioning involved at all levels of society.

His constituency is suburban white republicans. Every decision he makes is aimed at currying favor with that group, the rest of the people be damned.

As long as they don't look at his record regarding his handling of the education system in Louisiana

The public school system in Louisiana is fricked...most white children go to private schools or high graded schools while most black children go to lower end public schools with black teachers and administration...period. Education is fixed and only fixed from the family up....and let's face it black families (statistically) are more prone to one parent upbringing.

Wait, you mean he cuts worthless state government jobs and promotes small business?

Um, that's the way it's supposed to work. Otherwise, elect someone else.

I don't disagree but we are not talking about all levels of society.

I'm sorry but the American dream is not to be in the middle class. What kinda Marxist BS is that?

The American Dream is, or at least should be, to make a life for yourself whatever that may be. For most, it's probably own a home, have a family, and a good job.

Off topic but worth sharing. I helped run one of Bobbys satelite campaign offices last summer. I was making campaign calls and this much older lady told me "Bobby?! I am not voting for that crook! You let me know when Edwin Edwards runs again, now that is a man I WILL vote for!" Keep in mid this was a month or two after Edwin got out of jail.

"Cutting worthless state jobs"? I suggest you go back the past 3 yrs & look at the number of unclassifed jobs that have popped up under his administration, & the salaries attached to them, to get a better idea of what Bobby's "cuts" actually entail. The clerk in DODT loses her $28,000 a yr job & Bobby gives one of his cronies a make do job at a salary well over $100K. Multiply that times several 100, to be conservative, and that is the reality of what Bobby really stands for. He has only one interest, promoting his bonafides as a national Republican candidate for higher office. Finally, both the Morning Advocate & the N.O. Times Picayune are taking him to task for his absentiesim at the expense of the State in today's papers. Why does our La. governor refuse to meet with the La.press for a Q&A? Because the La. press cann't do anything but make him look bad, as he well deserves.

Bobby's just pissed that he is't packing his bags to move to DC to be on Romney's Cabinet. He should watch his mouth, as future candidates will be wary of his loyalties, which are to Bobby Jindal, and nobody else.

Just ten days ago he was flying around the country being Romney's butt boy. He could at least have waited until next year to turn on him.
