I would have to agree...I am pretty disappointed with the maps ...to many hiding spots and enemies spawn right next to u....bo1 to me is a way better game....

The Highrise/Nuketown comparison is completely bogus. If you want to know the relative sizes of the maps, look at what maps cycle for free-for-all (smallest) and for Ground War (largest).

There's only a handful of maps that I like so far on blops2. Most of them have a ton of different ways to enter a room. You have to watch so many different entrances.
Like the aircraft carrier. There is so much crap spread out all over that map. "Let's add some more green boxes right here! Wait let's put some more shite over here!"
Steadily getting shot from every direction.

As a treyarch fan, this game is very disappointing.
And i'm not even talking about the server issues and major lag.
Didn't do the campaign yet, but the multi is mediocre. Very gimmicky system, and the maps are mediocre. And so few for the ground war game play.
Black ops was a much better game.
I'll keep mine, as i have all next week off, and will start and finish the campaign. Play some multi to kill the time, before i help beta test the new Skyrim DLC, in the next week or so.
i'm fearful for the crap that mw4 will bring, and bo3 will be. Kill the MW series and use that off year to improve the BO series.

then add the upgraded hit detection, Pick 10 system, league play, and guns from BOII.

I like the speed of black ops 2. Ded game play and maps from black ops. Black ops had my favorite maps of any of them

Yea I like blops 2 speed. I feel like its a nice mix between MW2 and blops 1
I did like the maps from blops 1 a lot and balance. The pick ten has been huge for me though. I love it

I like the new one to be honest. If I have a map that I dont generally like, I'll pick one portion of the map and mainly stick to it during TDM, which is what I play most the time anyway. In league play you dont get to choose though.
I do agree that the aircraft carrier map is fricking terribad. Whoever made the comparison to downturn is pretty spot on, but I still say downturn is 100 times worse. Not that aircraft carrier is good, downturn is just that fricking uber terribad.
