If he buys her a car (signs the note) and she bails, he absolutely is stuck w/ the note.

TDI autos can be slow. Depends. The 5 A/T is a POS. The 6 A/t is somewhat better.
TDI with M/T is much more responsive and fun to drive, as well as reliable.

This is the OT.
My XR400R can hang with Hyabusas. Ryan Villipoto and James Stewart are engaged in a bidding war to purchase it. I keep turning them down because it is so fast and because I can. Maybe when one of them antes up $100k, I'll consider letting it go.
You should see what my '82 F100 can do. Pullin' 4wd F250 powerstrokes and 2500HDs backwards all damn day, with a 2.73 dogleg rear end. You don't want to know what it could do with limited slip.

Not mine in the pic. May change that later to my actual car...which is also a Challenger. The car in my sig was built by a shop in Kenner as a promotional car, though they recently just pulled the blower in favor of a very large centrifugal supercharger set up. It's a badass car, google "cult energy challenger".

He's been going on and on about power and which cars are fast, yet he's trying to talk you into the biggest turd in the VW lineup (the tdi). I think the tdi VW's are great cars...mainly if you don't mind sacrificing some performance to gain some mpgs.
I never said it was fast.
Don't we get into arguments every single time a car thread comes up? I am pretty sure I have won the vast majority of them
