I think a plate of sliced tomatoes with salt, pepper and balsamic would be good alongside a bowl of chili.

Warm tortillas, pico de gallo, cilantro, sour cream, guac, lettuce, tomato, purple onion, queso fresco or plain old shredded cheddar --- Roll your own. Yum

Rice is the answer. My Mom started me on this years ago. Put some white rice in a bowl and then some cubed velveeta, covered by chili. Mix until cheese is melted. It's umm umm goood. Don't knock it til you try it.  All the Velveeta haters. GEAUX TIGERS!! Through Thick and Thin

I used to live some chili and rice before I started doing all this low carb stuff. There's a lot of naysayers around here about chili and rice, but I like it.
